SUNDAY: 6:00am - 12:00pm
This is a recreational bicycle ride using the famed Hurricane Ridge Road in Olympic National Park.
The Park has agreed to close the road to traffic until noon providing participants a unique cycling experience. The celebration of the ride will end in the parking lot at the top of Hurricane Ridge. This is where certificates will be provided celebrating the accomplishment, there will be an opportunity for photos with the event logo and Olympic Mountains in the background which will be e-mailed to riders, and there will be light snacks and beverages available. Riders will follow a pilot car down in groups of 15/20 about every 20 min.
Registration will be $25.00 and will include a Quality long sleeve shirt, a water bottle, refreshments at the event, and an opportunity to win a two night stay in Port Angeles.
This event is limited to roughly 200 participants and is expected to fill fast. Registration will need to be paid by July 15 and the event will accept credit card or checks. Event Details will be updated regularly so check the web site often.
